Old Dog Cora and the Christmas Tree |
|
by Consie Powell
Consie Powell, author of Newfoundland Draft Work, has written an engaging story about a elderly Newfoundland dog who can't understand why she's not involved in the annual Christmas Tree drag. It's a kids book, but anyone who has a draft dog that loves to pull will enjoy this story. Buy this book from Chapters.ca Buy this book from Amazon.com |

I recently found a copy of this book via a book search company. It has a lot of different cart projects, with most being for use with bicycles or human power. However, there is one set of plans for a dog sulky, and the other plans have neat construction tips and ideas on how to adapt the designs to slightly different purposes.

She has a cart training notebook that is wonderful and trains with driving in mind. She'll mail it for about $35.00. Check with her first.
